Yemen receives the third batch of Corona vaccines

The Yemeni Ministry of Health announced, on Thursday, that it had received the third batch of vaccines against the Corona virus, through the Kovacs Global Vaccine Distribution Program.

A spokesman for the Yemeni Ministry of Health, Ali Al-Walidi, said that 356,000 doses of AstraZeneca vaccine arrived in the southern city of Aden.

In turn, the Yemeni Minister of Health, Qassem Buhaibah, confirmed that the vaccines will be distributed to people who have already received the first dose of AstraZeneca.

Yemen has so far received less than one million doses of vaccine, including 360,000 from AstraZeneca in March, followed by 151,000 from Johnson & Johnson in August.
