The Ministry of Planning concludes the summer training program for university students 2021

Yesterday, the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development organized a celebration for the conclusion of the activities of the summer training program for university students 2021, which was launched by the ministry in mid-July, in the presence of Dr. Hala Al-Saeed, Minister of Planning and Economic Development, a number of ministry leaders, and all students participating in the training program in its session first and second.


During the celebration, Dr. Hala Al-Saeed said that young people are a very important part of society and that they are the future of the Egyptian state, and it is necessary for young people to be aware and aware of what is happening in the state in all fields, explaining the role of young people as ambassadors within universities and families to spread the progress that is happening on the The state level, and that education and scientific experience are refined by practical experience and dealing with institutions on the ground.


Al-Saeed pointed to the government's keenness to empower young people through many initiatives, including the experience of youth ministers who are responsible for a number of important issues within ministries, stressing that the highest standards of transparency and impartiality are observed when differentiating young people applying for these jobs.


Al-Saeed affirmed her keenness to know the impressions and opinions of the youth participating in the program, and their suggestions that can be taken into account when the Ministry launches the summer training program in the coming years, which will lead to a better implementation of the program from year to year. The various activities it implements, in addition to participating in youth initiatives launched by the Ministry to benefit from them.


For his part, Tariq Abdel-Khaleq, head of the human resources sector in the ministry, said that the ministry has launched the summer training program for university students since 2018, explaining the number of students benefiting from it during the four years, and the universities participating in the program, referring to the series of interactive lectures and workshops organized by the ministry during the training activities. In its first and second session on the most important programs and projects of the ministry, in which the ministry’s leaders lectured, and included several topics represented in the ministry’s role in the development planning of the state, sustainable development goals, and Egypt’s vision 2030, the most important development initiatives that the ministry supervises its implementation, including the “Dignified Life” initiative. .


Abdel-Khaleq added that the workshops also included a presentation of the role of technical offices in the ministries, the role and areas of work of the bodies affiliated with the ministry such as the National Institute for Governance and Sustainable Development, the Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics, the Egypt Award for Government Excellence, the Be an Ambassador initiative, the green economy and green bonds, the integrated system To prepare and follow up the state’s investment plan, define local development requirements, and during the workshops, a number of national projects that the ministry is working on were reviewed, such as the project of the birth and death registration system, the spatial information infrastructure, the vaccination system, the technology centers system, the cars of mobile technology centers, and the localities development project. The Spatial Variables System of the Republic, and field visits were organized during the training activities to the New Administrative Capital, the Spatial Variables Center of the Ministry, the Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics.


During the celebration, three of the students participating in the training program gave a presentation on the aspects of their benefit from the program, and clarified the areas in which they participated in working during the training period, expressing their happiness to participate, stressing that the program had a positive impact on them and changed their stereotyped image of government ministries. The program also contributed to Clarify the extent of the great progress that the state has achieved in many files such as human development and economic reform.
