Japanese authorities warn citizens of Typhoon Mindulle

Japanese authorities on Wednesday urged people to be vigilant and prepare for the possibility of evacuations from Typhoon Mindul, which will come close to the country in the coming days.


Japan Broadcasting Corporation (NHK) television reported that the typhoon will bring strong winds and torrential rains to the eastern and northern regions of the country, and that the storm's impact range is 600 km.


The authorities also urged citizens in the affected areas to follow the news, as the information available about the typhoon changed quickly and suddenly. The wind speed associated with the hurricane is currently 180 kilometers per hour.
