Some volleyball players apologize for preparing for the African Championship in Rwanda

The volleyball team is witnessing wholesale apologies from the players of the main strength for preparing for the African Championship, to be held next September in Rwanda.

The list of apologizing players includes Reda Heikal, Mohamed Moawad, Hossam Youssef, Ahmed Salah and Ahmed Qutb, as well as Abdullah Abdel Salam's retirement from international football.

Abdel Salam revealed to "The Seventh Day", that the reason behind making this decision was to spend time with the family and its connection to an operation in the nasal septum that causes difficulty breathing.

With the national team, Abdel Salam won the African Championship 6 times, 2 African Games, Arab Games silver, Mediterranean gold, as well as participating in the 2008 Beijing Olympics.

Abdullah Abdel Salam is considered one of the best playmakers of all time in the history of volleyball because of his strong achievements, whether with Al-Ahly or in terms of the foreign professional journey or the Egyptian national team.

Abdel Salam succeeded this season in crowning Al-Ahly with the Premier League title, before announcing that he would not join the Pharaohs in preparation for the last Polish international championship.
