White House: Biden looks forward to strengthening bilateral cooperation with Iraq on various issues

US President Joe Biden expressed his aspiration to enhance bilateral cooperation with Iraq on political, economic and security issues.


White House spokeswoman Jen Psaki said - in a statement published by the White House on its website today, Saturday - that Biden looks forward to welcoming Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi to the White House on July 26, adding that the Iraqi prime minister's visit will shed light on The strategic partnership between the United States and Iraq and the strengthening of bilateral cooperation within the framework of strategic cooperation.


She noted that the visit is also expected to focus on key areas of mutual interest including education, health, culture, energy and climate initiatives.
