The Iraqi National Coalition: Egypt and Sudan need a global stand to support their right to the Nile River

The head of the Iraqi National Coalition, Iyad Allawi, stressed that Egypt and Sudan, the two sisters, need an Arab and Islamic stance first and also an international one to support their eternal, natural and legal right to the waters of the Nile River.

Allawi said in a tweet on the social networking site Twitter, "The position of some countries and their attempts to prevent the flow of water in their natural areas is a flagrant challenge to civilization, the lives of citizens, and international norms and laws."
