Iraqi health calls for social distancing and wearing masks to prevent corona


The Iraqi Ministry of Health and Environment called on citizens to adhere to social distancing and to wear masks to prevent infection with the Corona virus.


A statement by the Ministry of Health, carried by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), stated that "the technical agent in charge of managing the Ministry of Health, Dr. Hani Al-Aqabi, held a meeting with the directors of the departments of the ministry's center to discuss the increasing cases of Corona patients and to provide sufficient clinical cover."


Al-Aqabi and the attendees called on all citizens to adhere to social distancing, reduce gatherings, and wear a mask to prevent infection with the Corona virus.
