The Libyan Prime Minister praises Morocco's efforts in supporting political and security stability

Head of the Libyan Government of National Unity Abdel Hamid Dabaiba affirmed that the historical ties between Libya and Morocco gave a strong impetus to strengthening relations, expressing his thanks to Morocco for the efforts made to unify state institutions in Libya and support the country's political and security stability.

Dabaiba said - in press statements after his talks with Moroccan Minister of Foreign Affairs Nasser Bourita in Rabat - that his visit to Rabat is an occasion to strengthen bilateral relations between Libya and Morocco in all fields and develop them in the interest of the two peoples, referring to the agreement that took place on the meeting of the Libyan Joint Consular Committee. Morocco, which will consider the issue of visas between the two countries, study and residence.

The Libyan official added that the national unity government is looking forward to holding the ninth meeting of the joint higher committee between the two countries, which has not met since 2009, calling for the necessity of activating the Arab Maghreb Union in order to overcome all the difficulties and challenges facing the region.

It is scheduled to meet the Libyan Prime Minister tomorrow, Monday, Moroccan Prime Minister Saad Eddine El Othmani and other officials.
