The day after tomorrow, the Libyan Joint Military Committee (5+5) will hold its fifth meeting in Sirte

 The Joint Military Committee (5 + 5) will hold its fifth meeting at its permanent headquarters in Sirte, the day after tomorrow, Sunday, in the presence of the members of the committee and the representative of the United Nations Support Mission in Libya.

The meeting will witness a discussion and review of what was agreed upon during previous meetings, regarding the mechanism for implementing the permanent ceasefire, which was signed in Geneva on October 23, 2020.

Identical sources stated that the Joint Military Committee 5 + 5 reviews, in its meeting, the work reports of the security and police subcommittees, and the issue of removing mines and war remnants, in preparation for the opening of the coastal road between the cities of Sirte and Misurata, as well as the file of removing foreign mercenaries from Libyan territory.
