Oil prices recorded 76.17 for Brent and 74.15 dollars for US crude

Today, oil prices recorded $76.17 per barrel, for the futures contracts for the international benchmark, Brent, and the US West Texas Intermediate crude futures, at 74.15 dollars per barrel.


According to international media reports, oil prices today witnessed stability, as investors await the results of the OPEC Plus meetings this week.


Oil prices recorded their fifth consecutive weekly gain at the end of trading sessions in the futures markets last Friday, as Brent crude contracts rose 3.6% compared to the end of the previous week, and West Texas crude contracts rose 3.4%.


The OPEC Plus alliance will hold its meeting at the beginning of next July, to discuss further easing of production cuts, starting in August 2021.
