Euro 2020: Jordi Alba: Spain must hold on to the confidence to qualify

Spain defender Jordi Alba, best player against Poland in the group stage of the European Nations Cup, expressed his regret over the draw, which is his team's second in the tournament, but encouraged to maintain confidence in qualifying for the final price.

After the two teams tied (1-1) in the match that was held on Saturday evening, Alba said, "We failed, the team tried until the end. We had a difficult opponent. We had chances, but we lacked luck."

The Spain captain added, "We lack to win matches. The team is doing well. We must continue to believe in what we are doing, until the end. If we win the third match, we will advance."

Spain will seek to qualify for the Euro Cup final against Slovakia, where coach Luis Enrique's men will need to win.

In this context, Alba stressed, "We are used to this pressure and we have to do what we do every day and this will definitely pay off. I am convinced that we will succeed."
