Tunisia announces a week-long quarantine ... and the Prime Minister: The health system is collapsing

Tunisian Prime Minister Hicham El Mechichi announced today, Friday, during a press conference at the Presidency of the Government, the approval of a comprehensive quarantine from next Sunday to 16 May. According to the Tunisian Radio Mosaique.

Al-Mashishi called on citizens to abide by this decision and not to exchange visits for Eid al-Fitr, stressing that the health situation is critical and stressing the need to be aware of the seriousness of this situation.

On the other hand, Egypt sent medical aid to Tunisia to confront the repercussions of the Corona virus, and Brigadier General Tamer Al-Rifai, the Egyptian military spokesman, stated that he was continuing to implement the directives of President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi, and within the framework of Egypt's support and solidarity with the Tunisian people in various crises and tribulations, a military transport plane took off from the East Cairo Air Base. Loaded with large quantities of medical aid provided by the Ministry of Health to the Tunisian people.

He stated that this aid comes as an affirmation of the strength of the historical ties between Egypt and Tunisia, and the distinguished Egyptian-Tunisian relations that enjoy all the appreciation and respect at the level of the two brotherly peoples.
