Raja hardens Orlando by four and faces Pyramids in the Confederation semi-finals

Morocco's Raja team managed to reserve its place in the semi-finals of the Confederation Cup, after its 4-0 home victory over Orlando Pirates of South Africa, on Sunday, in the second leg of the quarter-finals of the tournament.

Raja scored two goals between Malango in minutes 7 and 36, Zakaria Al-Wardi in the 22nd minute, and Sofiane Rahimi in the 31st minute.

The first leg that brought them together in South Africa ended in a 1-1 draw, with Morocco's Raja ascending to the semi-finals, winning the aggregate of the first and second matches, 5-1.

Raja is scheduled to meet in the semi-final round with the Egyptian Pyramids team, which overcame the Nigerian Enyimba hurdle 5-2, in the aggregate of the first and second matches.

And the meeting between Raja and Pyramids in the semi-finals, will be their third confrontation this season, after they met twice in the group stage.

Meanwhile, the Algerian JS Kabylie team accompanied its Moroccan counterpart to the next round, after it tied positively against its Tunisian counterpart, Sfaxien Club.


The Cameroonian Cotton Sport qualified to the next round despite losing 2-1 to Graf de Dakar, Senegalese.
