"Islamic Affairs" in Saudi Arabia closes 12 temporary mosques due to "Corona"

Today, Tuesday, the Saudi Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Da`wah and Guidance closed 12 temporary mosques in 6 regions after 12 cases of Coronavirus were confirmed among worshipers, bringing the total to 1030 mosques closed within 87 days, 1001 of which were opened after the completion of the sterilization and the completion of readiness.

The ministry clarified - according to what was reported by the Saudi Press Agency "SPA" - that 3 mosques in Al-Baha region, 3 mosques in Al-Jouf region, two mosques in Makkah Al-Mukarramah region, two mosques in Riyadh, a mosque in Al-Qassim region and a mosque in Jizan have been closed.

It indicated the reopening of 33 mosques, including 21 mosques in Al-Qassim region, 3 mosques in the eastern region, 3 mosques in Riyadh, two mosques in Makkah Al-Mukarramah region, two mosques in Al-Baha region, and a mosque in Al-Jouf region and a mosque in Al-Madinah Al-Munawwarah region, after completing all precautionary measures of sterilization and maintenance.
