The United Nations and France stress the importance of completely withdrawing mercenaries from Libya


The Special Envoy of the Secretary-General of the United Nations and the Head of the United Nations Support Mission in Libya, Jan Kubis, and the Minister for Europe and French Foreign Affairs, Jean-Yves Le Drian, stressed the importance of expediting the implementation of the ceasefire agreement and the complete withdrawal of foreign forces and mercenaries from Libya.


This came during talks held by the UN envoy with Le Drian in Paris during his visit to France from April 23 to 24, as the situation in Libya was the focus of discussions, especially in light of the recent developments in the region.
