Barcelona continues its training in preparation for facing Valladolid in the Spanish League

The Spanish club Barcelona continued collective training in preparation for returning to the atmosphere of the Spanish League, facing Valladolid in the 29th round next Monday at the Camp Nou stadium at nine o'clock in the evening Cairo time after the end of the international suspension of the teams.

The Dutch coach Ronald Koeman, the Catalan coach, gave his players a 4-day rest last week due to the international suspension and qualifying matches for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

Barca will return to the atmosphere of local competition when it hosts Valladolid at the end of the 29th round at its Camp Nou, during which it will seek to collect the three points to continue the triple lead conflict with Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid.

Barcelona are in second place with 62 points, 4 points behind leaders Al Atleti, and two points in front of the traditional rivals Real.

Gerard Pique participated in the team's collective training after completing his recovery from the knee injury sustained in the second leg of the King's Cup semi-finals against Seville.

Ronald Koeman supervised the recovery of defender Gerard Pique, who participated in part of the training, in addition to the improvement in the condition of right-back Sergi Roberto, whose recovery may be faster than his teammate.

The coming weeks will witness a great struggle between the front three, as Barcelona will face Real Madrid in the Clasico stage of the second leg (April 10) in a match that may determine much of the shape of the competition.

It is possible that Pique will not join the Valladolid match next Monday, April 5, but indications seem in favor of his participation in the El Clasico match, as for Sergi Roberto, who has regained the training pattern some time ago, he is close to receiving the medical clearance, which qualifies him to return to the stadiums in the next match at Camp Nou.

Barcelona midfielder Sergi Roberto continued to participate in training as well, as was the case in the previous days, after recovering from a muscle injury he suffered at the beginning of February.

Also in the training were Lionel Messi, Ronald Arujo, Matthews Fernandez, Samuel Umtiti, Junior Verbo and some of the youth team players.
